Besides the basic elements N and P, K (Potassium) is also crucial for every crop. Potassium ensures cell firmness (water balance), and prompts flowering. Potassium also plays an important role in cell formation, osmosis regulation and carbohydrate housekeeping. Further potassium is important for the opening and closing of stomata, which allow the removal of excessive heat. Potassium deficiency manifests itself when the plant does not open the stomata sufficiently to allow evaporation to cool down. This results in the development of chlorosis on the edges of the leaves, which at a later stage develops into necrosis (death). If potassium is in excess, the plant will be inhibited in its development and subsequently turn dark. Excess also hinders the uptake of other cations (Ca and Mg) caused by antagonistic effects.

K 20 is chloride-free, works very quickly, and most importantly, it is clean!
K-20 is very economical!
A dose of 1: 1000 increases the K figure by 5 mmol.

As a supplement during the flowering period, add 25-150 ml per 100 litres of nutrient solution.
