What is Bionova P 20?
Bionova P 20 plays an important role in the formation of energy carriers and DNA. It is indispensable for the metabolism of sugars and the formation of cell membranes. Plants immediately absorb all nutrient-rich minerals, giving you optimum control over your plants. Bionova P 20 can also be used for phosphorus deficiency.
A phosphorus deficiency manifests itself in slow growth and purple discolouration of the nerves on the underside of the leaves and purple stems due to anthocyanin accumulation. Excess phosphorus leads to a poorly growing plant with induced zinc deficiency.
Before P 20. it was a problem to add any form of phosphorus to crops that is completely and very quickly absorbed without harmful side effects.

Tips from Bionova growers

✔ If plants show symptoms of phosphorus (P) deficiency such as: short and purplish-reddish petioles, short root systems without root hairs, dark brown spots on leaves and delayed growth/flowering. Apply Bionova P20 to the crop to help plants recover from this nutrient deficiency.

✔ Phosphorus is important to provide the necessary energy needed by the plant's metabolism to take up and synthesise important molecules. Every reaction in a plant cell depends on the use of phosphorus as an energy source in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).

✔ Create a personalised feeding schedule: by using Bionova P20 mononutrient, you can determine exactly how much phosphorus you give to your crop.

✔ Increase the dosage of P20 one week before the flowering phase to encourage rapid flower induction.

✔ Mono nutrients can be used for outdoor cultivation. After checking the soil and (irrigation) water, Bionova mono nutrients adjusts the nutrients to ensure sufficient available nutrients.

Application in irrigation
In case of severe phosphorus deficiency, add max. 5-10 ml. per 10 litres of water. To stimulate root development and/or flowering add 1-5 ml. per 10 litres of water.
A dosage of 1:1000 increases the total amount of P by 3.5 mmol.
