Speedgrow cutting plugs are made of 100% Earthwool. By using Earthwool, this product is almost 100% natural. The raw materials used are all new, so no recycled raw materials are used in our Speedgrow plugs. As a result, there is no contamination from diseases or mould from outside.

Earthwool® is made from Basalt (solidified lava). The Basalt pieces are turned into fibres at high temperatures. These fibres are then processed into plugs using Ecose (an environmentally-friendly and formaldehyde-free binding agent).

Thanks to the very open structure of Earthwool plugs, it is an ideal product for germinating and cutting seeds and plants.

Instructions for use
Earthwool plugs are very easy to use. All you have to do is wet them with standard tap water before use. The Ecose used ensures that there is sufficient nutrition in the plug for the first week.
